When you bring your car into our transmission repair shop in Lake Worth for the diagnostics procedure, we take great care to protect your car by placing protective coverings on any places that we will be touching. We know you respect and value your vehicle and we do too.
The first thing we do is take your car or truck for a test drive to evaluate how it is runs and feels and listen for any noises or abnormal functions in the transmission or the way the car operates. After we get back to the shop we run a drive line diagnostics test with advanced computer software and systems that tell us the malfunction codes in the automobile's transmission control unit. The codes that are presented to our ASE certified technicians give him a good idea what is wrong with your transmission are where we need to proceed to make repairs.
Once you automobile is hoisted onto our lift our CST ASE certified mechanic can diagnose visual problems with the components on the transmission such as the transfer casing, differentials, drive shaft and all the electrical connections. We also inspect other issues that are visible to us for proper performance beyond the transmission.
We will contact you immediately after we have completely diagnosed the problems with your transmission and discuss a repair plan and the cost associated with getting your car or truck transmission properly repaired so you will have no further issues and can proceed comfortably with many miles to come without any mechanical concerns. Once we have your approval we will move on from the diagnostics stage and move on to repairing your transmission.
